There was jubilation as talented singer Rema pledged a massive N105 million to a church in Benin.
After his performance in Benin on Saturday, Rema visited the church where he worshiped as a child.
He expressed gratitude to the church for welcoming him warmly and consistently praying for him.
Rema also thanked the church for supporting his family by opening a shop for his mother after they lost his father.
The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker donated N105 million to support various projects within the church.
Rema said in part …
“I’m not here to give myself any form of accolage; I’m here to give God the glory. I feel like to give back to church because the church has embraced me, has prayed for me.”
