Nollywood star Regina Daniels has publicly broken down, alleging that her estranged husband, billionaire Ned Nwoko, is deliberately preventing her from seeing their children. In an emotional Instagram post featuring a video call with her two sons, the actress disclosed that she has not spoken to them since the middle of November a situation she described as unbearable for any mother.
The Pain of Separation
Regina clarified that despite appearances, she is deeply hurting. She explained that her silence was an attempt to stay strong, not an indication of indifference.
In her words, she said:
“The last time I spoke with my kids was mid-November. People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children. I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away.”
Allegations of Manipulation and Falsehoods
The actress further accused the billionaire of engaging in a smear campaign. She claimed that he fired their nannies and coerced them into lying about her conduct specifically alleging violence and alcohol abuse while the children were present.
She alleged:
“Ned dismissed all my nannies, pressured them into making false statements accusing me of violence and alcohol abuse in front of the children, and has since filed for full custody, despite already having the children in his care,”
Social Media Tactics
Regina also criticized her estranged husband for frequently posting images of their children online. She argued that a man of his stature knows such actions invite undue media scrutiny during a sensitive family crisis. She questioned why she is being treated as a threat, maintaining that despite her young age, she is a dedicated mother who cherishes her role.
Background
This public outcry follows Regina’s decision to end her marriage to Ned Nwoko last month, citing domestic violence as the primary cause for the split.
