Regina Chukwu, a well-known Nollywood actress, prepares for her housewarming party on Monday by throwing a pre-party for her mother and friends.
It should be noted that the actress recently purchased a new home after losing her previous one for several years.
She held a separate party for her mother and her friends before her housewarming celebration since she thought it would be wiser to do it before the main party.
According to Regina Chukwu, her family’s Igbo culture would not allow them to participate in the type of party she has planned.
In a lengthy post via Instagram, she wrote;
“It’s strictly a family affair for today 💃💃💃My mum is the celebrant for today as I decided it will be best to host her guest separately before the main party … the Igbo in them won’t let them do the kinda Monday setting 😂😂😂😂 but in all honesty I had fun and it was wonderful seeing my cousins, wives, aunties and uncles also the FRIENDS OF JESUS PRAYER MINISTER whom my mum is their mummy in the lord … thank you all for coming 🙏🙏🙏@folorunshoadeola thanks for putting this togetherLet’s get ready for the main party next tomorrow 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃.”
