Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has opened up about a heartbreaking moment during her late husband’s illness. In a video shared on her YouTube channel, Regina Chukwu TV, the actress recounted how her husband, overwhelmed by pain, once pleaded with her to help end his life.
She explained that as his health continued to deteriorate, she made the difficult decision to take him back to his hometown. His family was shocked by the drastic change in his condition and called on both traditional healers and pastors in hopes of finding a cure.
“In a bid to find help, I took him to his village. When his parents saw him, they were stunned by how much the illness had taken a toll on him. They brought in pastors and herbalists to try different treatments,” she narrated.
Regina revealed that after spending about two months with him in the village, her husband, worn out by the pain, made a heartbreaking request.
“He asked me to look for a doctor who could inject him with something to end his life. He said the suffering was unbearable and he couldn’t keep going like that,” she said.
