Fidel Odinga, the son of Kenya’s main opposition leader, Raila Odinga was found dead Sunday morning after an evening out drinking with friends.
The death of the deceased who was in contention to replace his father as leader of opposition sparked minor unrest as soon as the news of his death filtered through the capital, Sunday morning.
Police authorities say the death “is being treated as unexplained.”
Forensic experts have been called upon to establish the cause of death, Kenyan detective who wished to remain anonymous said.
Both president Uhuru Kenyatta and his vice president William Ruto have extended their condolences to Ralia.
