President Bola Tinubu has arrived in South Africa after completing his visit to France.
He was welcomed at the airport by South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Roland Lamola, along with Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
Sharing a video of the president’s arrival, Tinubu’s special adviser on social media, Dada Olusegun, noted that Tinubu is in South Africa for the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC). The event, co-hosted with President Cyril Ramaphosa, will involve discussions across eight key sectors, including political consultations, consular and migration issues, banking and finance, defence and security, manufacturing, the social sector, mines and energy, as well as trade and investment.
Earlier, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed that the president would leave France for Cape Town on Monday, following his arrival in France last Wednesday.
