Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has downplayed the role of a cabal in his government if elected in 2023.
Atiku assured Nigerians that he would be in charge of his government and that no cabal would be allowed.
He made the assurance while speaking with VON’s Hausa Service in the United States, US.
Atiku stressed that if elected, he would not allow any clique to hijack his government, and that no group of people would manipulate him.
“There will be no cabal in my government,” he said. Waziri (Atiku) will be in charge of the administration.”
Cabal has been a major issue that has harmed the image of the government led by incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
Aisha Buhari, the president’s wife, has openly accused some of the president’s allies of forming a cabal that controls the country’s affairs.
