An Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) elder’s form three daughter is believed to have committed suicide in Centenary Mashonaland Central province yesterday (Wednesday).
Sources close to investigations allege that Sibongile Utaunashe, a pupil at Gatu High school, suspected to haven been pregnant, drank unknown toxic substance in a suicidal incident yesterday.
Apparently Sibongile was ashamed for both the church and the school. AFM Gatu assembly elder Utaunashe is a retired teacher from Gatu High.
The corpse has since been taken to St Albert’s mission hospital for postmortem today.
