Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has intensified his ongoing feud with social media activist VeryDarkMan, turning their clash into a full-blown diss battle.
According to NAIJALOG, both rivals have taken to releasing diss tracks, each firing shots and rebuttals in what has become a viral back-and-forth drama.
The tension escalated after Portable criticized VeryDarkMan for frequently attacking President Tinubu over Nigeria’s economic challenges. He also accused the activist of using late singer Mohbad’s death to gain attention, insisting that justice had not been served in the case.
In retaliation, VeryDarkMan dropped a diss track titled “Ole” (which means “thief” in Yoruba), throwing shade at Portable by referencing past theft accusations. He also resurfaced a viral 2020 video that showed Portable being beaten by a mob over allegations of stealing a phone and a tricycle.
Portable clapped back via Instagram, exposing old footage of VeryDarkMan in compromising situations, further fueling their bitter exchange.
Their public fallout has caught the attention of social media users, sparking intense reactions and keeping many glued to the drama as it unfolds.
