Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pledged to avoid trouble following his recent legal battle with the Ogun State government.
This statement comes shortly after the singer was granted bail of ₦2 million over accusations of assaulting government officials at his bar.
Portable, who had previously been declared wanted, voluntarily turned himself in and underwent legal proceedings before securing his release.
Following his freedom, he took to social media to share a music video, expressing his intention to focus on making money and steering clear of trouble.
Grateful for overcoming his legal challenges, he wrote:
“Alhamdulilahi for everything 🙏 ZAzuu. No more wahala, na money I dey look for. If you no get money, call God ✍🏻.”
Known for his controversial nature and frequent run-ins with law enforcement, Portable appears to be adopting a more cautious approach. However, opinions among fans remain divided on whether he can truly stay away from controversy, given his history.
For now, the singer seems committed to prioritizing his career and financial success while avoiding unnecessary drama.
