Following his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command over allegations of unpaid debts related to a G-Wagon purchase, controversial Nigerian artist Portable has broken his silence. Taking to social media for the first time since his arrest, Portable addressed his fans and followers. His arrest reportedly revolves around accusations of unpaid debts concerning the purchase of a G-Wagon vehicle from a car dealer. Portable allegedly only paid N13 million of the total N27 million cost, leaving a significant balance unsettled. He purportedly refused to settle the remainder, citing claimed faults with the vehicle. In his initial public statement since the arrest, Portable shared a message of faith and resilience on his Instagram page, expressing, “God is bigger than everything. Amen if you believe so. God over everything.”
