Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed the story behind his Instagram name, “Elizabeth Joyce.”
Known for his outspoken nature, Portable addressed the curiosity surrounding the name during an interview with content creator Egungun of Lagos. He explained that it is connected to his past before he rose to fame in the music industry.
According to the Zaazu crooner, before achieving success, he was involved in internet fraud, commonly referred to as “Yahoo.” During that time, he created his first Instagram account under the name “Elizabeth Joyce” and even used a white woman’s photo as his profile picture. However, after gaining popularity, he removed the image but decided to keep the name.
