Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has turned down a boxing match challenge from fellow artist Speed Darlington, stating that the rapper isn’t a worthy opponent.
In a recent video, Portable made it clear he had no interest in the proposed fight, accusing Speed Darlington of using the stunt as a publicity move for his upcoming show in April.
Declaring “Darlington no match,” Portable canceled any possibility of a bout and instead set his sights higher, demanding a whopping N100 million to take on British-Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua.
In his usual bold style, Portable bragged about his dominance in the music industry, asserting that he’s far more relevant and popular than Speed Darlington.
The clash started after Speed Darlington openly challenged Portable and tied the conditions of their fight to his upcoming performance, but Portable’s dismissal of the challenge has only added more fuel to the online buzz.
