A popular musician called Portable has accused Verydarkman of advising him to conduct paternity tests on his kids and tipping off the EFCC about his alleged misuse of naira. It is reported that Verydarkman had suggested that Portable should confirm whether all his children are actually his through DNA tests. Portable, however, confronted Verydarkman via direct message and criticized him for these actions. He also expressed his frustration towards Verydarkman for getting him in trouble with the EFCC. Portable questioned if Verydarkman knew how hard he had to work to earn his money and how many people depend on him financially. He warned Verydarkman to stop interfering in his personal affairs and focus on finding a job instead. Finally, Portable cautioned him to stay away from him to avoid any future trouble.
