Controversial street-hop artist Portable has ignited a new wave of drama after alleging that he was responsible for boosting Olamide’s international profile.
During a recent live performance, the singer made the bold claim that the YBNL boss failed to fully support him, despite the massive success of their breakout hit Zazzo Zeh.
According to Portable, he said:
“Olamide didn’t shoot Zazzo video with me, he didn’t stand with me in the video. I was the one that gave Olamide international recognition. Zazzo made Olamide. Why didn’t Olamide call me for his show?”
Portable maintained that even though he contributed to the song’s viral success, Olamide has allegedly “ignored” him, pointing especially to the fact that he was not invited to recent shows.
His comments surfaced shortly after Olamide’s sold-out London concert, which featured major acts including Asake, Seyi Vibez, Darkoo, and others.
The statement quickly went viral, sparking intense debate online as fans circulated clips of the moment. Many argued that Portable had crossed a line with his claims.
One user commented, “Portable dey always rewrite history. Olamide literally gave him the biggest push of his career.” Another added, “Drama always follows Portable. Na him brand.”
