After initially resisting arrest, the Ogun State Police Command apprehended the controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable.
It will be remembered that the singer had sounded the alarm when the officers arrived at his bar to take him away.
He had demanded to know why they were seeking to arrest him and had refused to accompany the guys to their station.
He later claimed that the officers were dispatched by a Yahoo boy who wanted him jailed.
Following the entire ordeal, he was given a 72-hour ultimatum, which expired .
According to online sources, he has been arrested by the police division in Ogun and will be detained for 72 hours.
Speaking to the press, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest and stated that he is currently being held in a cell at the state police headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
He further stated that the street rapper was arrested after ignoring five invites.
