A police officer whose name was given as Abba Gana, was on Tuesday shot dead at the Michika Divisional Police Headquarters in Adamawa State after he shot two of his colleagues who are now receiving treatment in the hospital.
The state’s police spokesperson, Muhammed Ibrahim, confirmed the incident. The shooter, allegedly opened fire on his colleagues without any reason.
Ibrahim said that Gana, who resisted arrest, was shot dead by officers of the state’s special anti- robbery patrol, ‘Operation Tsaro’.
