A dawn fire on Wednesday razed a room at the students hostel of the College of Medicine, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, Lagos.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known but there was suspicion that it may have been caused by an electric spark.
The room located at the top of the four-storey apartment block was engulfed in fire.
The inferno was eventually put out but some damage had been recorded in the room.
