In a bid to better secure lives and properties, the Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has pledged to buy 77 Hilux Trucks and 50 power bikes for the police.
He made this promise when he visited the police command in the state on Friday.
El-Rufai also commended the police for their recent security successes in the state particularly in Southern Kaduna and the Birnin-Gwari area.
Commissioner of Police U.U Shehu while responding thanked the governor for being the first incumbent governor of the state to pay a working visit to the police command.
