A petrol bomb blast has killed at least 12 people in a restaurant in Cairo, Egypt
Other accounts put the death toll as high as 18. Six others were wounded.
The attacker was said to be an employee who had been fired from the restaurant and was said to have hurled the bomb into the restaurant.
Islamist militants have claimed a number of bombing and shooting attacks in Egypt, since the army toppled President Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2013 after mass protests.
