Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has been declared the winner of the presidential election in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
After the summation of all six area councils in the FCT, Obi defeated Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), finished a distant third.
He received 281,717 votes, while Tinubu of the ruling APC received 90,902 votes and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP received 74,199 votes.
