At the age of 76, veteran actor Pete Edochie is awarded two honorary doctorates from a foreign university.
On Saturday, the ISTM University in Togo awarded the Nollywood actor a lifetime achievement award, a doctorate in literature, and a doctorate in the arts.
According to a video that just leaked online, representatives from the international institution visited the actor at home and gave him the prizes in celebration of his significant contributions to the creative business.
“For all the works he has been doing, and he has been the pioneer in everything that all the younger ones are copying,”
one of the representative said.
