Reports monitored on Africa Review says Bayern Munich Manager Josep Pep Guardiola is in Kenya for the holidays.
Pep arrived in the coastal town of Mombasa on Sunday together with his wife Cristina Serra and their three children, Maria, Marius and Valentina for a day-long stay.
“Yes; it is true we were together with Guardiola in Mombasa, but he is purely on holiday and needs privacy,” Kenya’s Tourism minister Najib Balala told the Daily Nation.
Guardiola, forty-four years is a former professional soccer player, who is regarded as one of the most successful managers of the sport.
Prior to joining the German Bundesliga champions, Guardiola had a successful stint with the Spanish giants Barcelona.
The tactician who leaves Bayern at the end of the season, has been linked with a move to the British Premier League.
