Nigerian singer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has spoken out about the criticism he often receives online regarding his level of education.
The entertainer, who commands millions of followers across social media platforms, explained why negative comments rarely affect him.
“People will call me uneducated…”
Peller addressed the issue directly, saying:
“People will call me uneducated and an illiterate, but when I check their profile picture, it’s always the ones looking the most broke and useless.”
He noted that although he is extremely active on TikTok where he has over 13 million followers, he barely spends time on Instagram despite having 2.2 million followers on the platform, using it mainly for brand-related engagements.
Peller, who completed his primary education at Providence Primary School and attended Frontrunner Academy in Ikorodu for secondary school, has not pursued higher education.
