Former aviation minster and former President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign publicity director, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that with the nomination of Ali Modu Sheriff as the new acting national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), it is now clear to him that the party needs serious prayers.
Mr. Sheriff is widely believed to be a sponsor of Boko Haram terrorists.
The National Caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today appointed the former governor of the Borno state as its acting national chairman.
Reacting to this development, Mr. Fani-Kayode took to his Twitter page and wrote: “Given todays events it is clear to me that, more than at any other time in its 16 years in existence, the PDP needs serious prayers.”
