Popular music executive Paulo has named Afrobeats star Burna Boy as the richest Nigerian musician, revealing the impressive amount he earned four years ago.
In an online video chat with well-known podcaster Daddy Freeze, Paulo shared that Burna Boy is the highest-earning Nigerian artist and that his peak earnings were recorded four years ago.
Paulo revealed that between 2020 and four years prior, Burna Boy made between $80 to $100 million. He also noted that Burna Boy’s current earnings, including those from the past two years, don’t compare to what he made during that period.
Paulo highlighted how Burna Boy’s humility conceals his wealth, adding that his management team, primarily consisting of family members like his mother and sister, keeps things grounded despite his massive earnings.
