President Bola Tinubu has been cautioned to take care when managing the affairs of the nation since any error could have disastrous consequences.
The Champions Royal Assembly’s founder and leader, Prophet Joshua Iginla, issued the warning during one of his ministerial acts in a brief clip posted on the church’s YouTube channel on August 10th.
Remember that Prophet Iginla predicted Tinubu would be chosen for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket and would prevail in the 2023 general election.
The preacher cautioned the president against turning his allies against him and his foes into allies in order to avert the Ides of March.
Prophet Iginla said:
“Our current leader, President Bola Ahmed, you mean well for this country, but there are people who want to destabilise every sensitive part to distract you. Do not make your enemies friends and your friends enemies.”
The warning comes just after President Tinubu sent the Senate 49 ministry nominees’ names for consideration and confirmation.
The Senate confirmed 45 of the nominations, with three still awaiting confirmation due to security reasons. There are still two former governors up for confirmation, including Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State. A ministerial nominee withdrew from consideration.
The leadership crisis roiling the Niger Republic, which did not sit well with many northern Nigerian blocs where the president had garnered strong support during the 2023 general election, is another issue that is wobbling President Tinubu’s administration.
The high cost of living in the nation as a result of the withdrawal of the gasoline subsidy at the start of Tinubu’s government was another significant concern for Mr. President.
