Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), has declared that his influence in Nigeria would far surpass what it is in the UK, following news of his impending deportation.
This comes after the UK immigration upper tribunal approved Adegboyega’s deportation over allegations of a £1.87 million fraud case. The pastor, however, has denied the accusations, calling them baseless and unfounded.
In a teaser for an upcoming Off The Record podcast episode, Adegboyega addressed the allegations and spoke about his church’s prominence. “We are the largest independent church in the UK and Europe right now,” he stated, defending SPAC Nation’s reputation.
The pastor also reflected on the potential move to Nigeria, claiming, “If I am in Nigeria, I will be bigger than this—10x maybe. If I am in Paris, I will be happier. It’s holiday for me. London will miss me, so you better tell them, we still need this guy. Nobody is close to us entertaining us.”
Despite the deportation ruling, Adegboyega remains defiant, asserting his church’s success and his personal resilience.
