Renowned preacher and televangelist, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has shared his perspective on marriage, urging men to view their wives as their first daughters rather than their equals.

In a viral video, Pastor Chris is seen addressing his congregation, explaining that men who see their wives as mates tend to have higher expectations and are more likely to get upset when their wives make mistakes.

However, he emphasized that if a husband treats his wife like his daughter, he would be more understanding, patient, and gracious in handling situations within the marriage.

The LoveWorld Incorporated leader highlighted that this approach fosters harmony and deeper connection between spouses.

He said in part…

“Take your wife as your first daughter, more than as your mate. If you take her as your mate you will be offended at the things she does because you expect more from her. If you take her as your daughter, you will be gracious and you will overlook all the nonsense.”
