Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has announced a global prayer program dedicated to singles, waiting mothers, and families seeking divine intervention in marriage and fruitfulness.
According to Pastor Oladele Balogun, the church’s Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Administration, the initiative came through divine inspiration received by Adeboye.
Focus of the Special Prayer
The program is designed to address the increasing number of unmarried individuals and couples hoping for children both within Nigeria and globally.
Adeboye noted that recent population data shows that singles and mature singles constitute over 40% of Nigeria’s adult population, describing them as a “vibrant but waiting generation” earnestly seeking God’s touch in their family lives.
Special Attention to Waiting Families
The revered cleric also acknowledged the emotional and spiritual challenges faced by waiting mothers and families around the world. He emphasized that millions are holding on in faith for the fruit of the womb, describing their journey as one that demands “prayer, faith, and patience.”
With RCCG’s presence in more than 190 countries, Adeboye said these groups form a vital part of the church’s global family, bound together by hope and perseverance.
Global Call to Participate
The prayer session will take place during the November 2025 Thanksgiving Service at RCCG’s National Headquarters, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, on Sunday, November 2, at 8:00 a.m.
Pastor Adeboye encouraged those in Lagos to attend physically while inviting others worldwide to join virtually, promising that it would be “a life-changing encounter with God.”
