Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, has been arraigned in court and ordered to remain in prison custody until November 28 over a case allegedly linked to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.

In a recent update online, Regina’s brother Sweezzy1 posted a video showing Sammy in very poor condition while held in police custody. The video immediately drew public criticism, as he appealed to the public for help, stressing that Sammy’s health and safety were now in danger.

Sammy Refused Bail, Family Seeks Help

Sweezzy1 also revealed that the court denied Sammy bail. He expressed disappointment over the decision and urged Nigerians to lend their voices, insisting that his brother was being unfairly treated.

This comes after he earlier accused Ned Nwoko of being responsible for Sammy’s troubles, despite Nwoko publicly denying involvement, saying he “never filed any petition against Sammy.”

Rita Daniels Shares Photos From Detention

Their mother, Rita Daniels, also joined the call for justice after posting a photo of Sammy in detention.
The image, which quickly went viral, showed Sammy in a dirty holding area with visible bruises on his body and arms.

Public Reacts With Anger

Nigerians on social media have flooded the internet with messages of concern and solidarity for the family. Many questioned whether power and influence are being used to oppress Sammy, and demanded to know what could justify his alleged treatment.
