Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, has passed away at the age of 43 following a prolonged battle with cancer.
His death was confirmed on Monday in an official statement released by the company.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky,” a spokesperson said.
“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”
Radvinsky acquired the platform’s parent company, Fenix International, in 2018, becoming its majority shareholder and serving as director until his passing.
OnlyFans was originally created by British father-and-son duo Guy Stokely and Tim Stokely as a platform where content creators could earn directly from subscribers.
The platform experienced massive growth during the COVID-19 pandemic, as lockdowns pushed both creators and users online.
Reports indicate that users spent a record $7.2 billion on the platform in 2024, while Radvinsky reportedly earned $1.8 billion in dividends between 2021 and 2025.
He had also been exploring the possibility of selling the platform last year, although reports suggested he struggled to secure a buyer.
