The Former Deputy Governor of Osun State,
, has won the Peoples Democratic Party governorship primary election to represent the party as its candidate in the August 9 governorship poll in the state.
The Chairman of Osun 2014 Gubernatorial Primary Election, Mr. Adamu Aliero, announced the result of the primary election conducted in Osogbo under tight security.
He declared that Omisore scored 1,128 votes while Senator Olasunkanmi Alkinlabi got 45 votes, Mr. Wole Oke got five votes and 18 votes were voided.
The three politicians contested for the ticket of the party following the boycott of the primary by Mr. Isiaka Adeleke.
