Efemena Okedi Wife of Late reggae veteran, Ras Kimono’s, has passed away, She died yesterday morning, Sunday, September 23, 2018.
Okedi attended a family function on Saturday September 22, after which she complained of ill-health on Sunday and was rushed to the hospital. She died before reaching the hospital. Okedi was also Kimono’s manager and a member of his band while he was alive. She was his third wife.
Actual Cause of Her death is yet to be known, But it comes exactly 3 Months after Ras died, and a month after he was Buried..

On June 9, the dreadlocked musician, whose real name is Chux Ohai, had slumped at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while waiting to board a flight to the United States.
According to sources close to him, Kimono was immediately rushed to an unnamed hospital in Ikeja and then taken to another hospital on Lagos Island where he later died on Sunday June 10.
