Nigerian rap superstar Olamide Baddo has clarified widespread assumptions about his personality, revealing that he isn’t shy as many people believe.
During an interview on Ada’s Room, Olamide explained that his quiet nature is often misunderstood.
He said, “One thing I wish people could understood about me is I am not shy, I am just laid back.”
When the host asked him to explain the difference, Olamide broke it down clearly.
According to him, “Shy is when you don’t have the confidence and the charisma to stand people or look them in the eye or have conversations with them.
“But being laid back is you just don’t want to be bothered. People think I am shy but I am not.”
The rapper emphasized that his calm demeanor has nothing to do with fear or lack of confidence—he simply prefers his space and peace.
