Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola stirred reactions on social media after a lighthearted exchange with a female fan went viral online.
The moment began after the actor shared a prayer-themed message with his followers on X (formerly Twitter).
In the post, the Yoruba movie star wished his fans prosperity and success, expressing hope that whatever they touched during the day would multiply. However, he added a humorous warning, telling them to be careful not to “touch something else.”
His post read:
“Everything you touch today shall multiply. Don’t touch something else.”
Shortly after the tweet, a female fan responded with a comment that many social media users described as bold.
She replied:
“Amen. If I wish to touch something else, it will only be yours, sir.”
The response quickly gained attention online, with many users finding the statement both daring and amusing.
Reacting to the comment, Odunlade acknowledged the fan’s confidence while pointing out that she made the remark openly on a public timeline.
He wrote:
“Bold statement. And on a public timeline too.”
The playful interaction soon spread across different social media platforms as users shared screenshots and reacted to the exchange between the actor and his admirer.
While some people applauded the fan’s boldness, others joked about the actor’s calm and humorous response, turning the moment into a trending discussion online.
Earlier, the actor also made headlines for honouring veteran actress Peju Ogunmola during the 2025 edition of the Odunlade Adekola Film Production (OAFP) Awards held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
During the ceremony, he invited the veteran actress on stage and encouraged guests to give her a standing ovation, which they did in appreciation of her contributions to the film industry.
The moment was widely praised online, especially as the actress had recently experienced a personal loss following the passing of her only child, singer Ayomikun.
In a later video shared on her Instagram page, Peju Ogunmola was seen stepping out of her home smiling and dancing with members of her household, marking her return to Nollywood after the difficult period.
