Nigerian billionaire and entrepreneur Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, has earned widespread praise online after a video surfaced showing him correcting his son’s behavior during an encounter with presidential hopeful Peter Obi.
The incident occurred during Obi Cubana’s grand 50th birthday celebration in Abuja, which was attended by several celebrities, political figures, and other dignitaries.
In the now-viral video, Obi Cubana was seen standing next to his son as Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, approached to exchange greetings. While Cubana respectfully greeted Obi, his son remained seated.
Noticing the lack of courtesy, Obi Cubana immediately instructed his son to stand and properly greet the politician. The boy quickly complied, rising to acknowledge Peter Obi with respect.
The video has since sparked a wave of admiration on social media, with many applauding Obi Cubana for raising his son with values of discipline and respect, despite their affluent lifestyle.
