A final year student of electronic and electrical engineering at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has built a solar-powered car.
Segun Oyeyiola who shared some information about the car said ” The car took me over a year to build, most people think it is only solar energy because they can only see the solar panel on top of the car but the car uses wind and solar energy”, He said.
He added that he also developed an application that can be installed in the car to share information such as the battery level, weather conditions, how far you can go and other car functions.
