An NYSC corps member has proudly showcased his first meal after receiving the newly increased N77,000 allowance.
Previously, corps members earned N33,000, but the federal government recently implemented a pay raise, which officially took effect less than 24 hours ago.
Amid the excitement, a corps member identified as @bj_black19 took to TikTok to share a video of his “first quality meal” following the salary increase.
Alongside the clip, he captioned it, “Thank you, NYSC. Last last, men don taste 77K 😂.”
The video has since sparked reactions online, with many celebrating the increment, while others playfully debated how long the money would last.
