A National Youth Service Corps members, Miss Ifeanyi Okeoma, serving at the Federal College of Education, Technical, Asaba was on Sunday knocked down by a reckless driver close to Federal College of Education Technical, Asaba, Delta State.
According to eye witnesses, the driver of the car with number plate Abuja FT 490 ABC lost control of the car, skidded off the road and in the process hit the lady. She was pronounced dead immediately. The driver escaped the accident unscathed.
The deceased according to colleagues who thronged the scene of the accident would have gotten married on May 5 2012.
All was nearly set for the wedding, the invitation cards already printed and distributed to family and well-wishers before she met her untimely death.
The dead lady hails from Anambra State.
