Stanley Nwabali, the Nigerian goalkeeper who helped lead the Super Eagles to the 2024 AFCON finals with his outstanding saves, has been recognized with a significant chieftaincy title in his community. The traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Nzeobi Evaristus Amida, has crowned him with the title of Ugo Egbema, which means “The Pride of Egbema Kingdom.” The traditional ruler stated that the title was bestowed on Stanley Nwabali for bringing honor to his people. It is worth noting that the goalie was previously honored with a state award and a gift of N20 million by the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
