The National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has banned 132 petroleum marketers from loading products from all depots in Lagos area.

Even though the union failed to disclose their offences, the leadership of the union has sent an alert to all petroleum tank farms, and chairmen of units of NUPENG at the depot to ensure that the 132 marketers are not allowed to load anywhere within Lagos State.

In a circular released to all tank farms and signed by Lagos Zonal Chairman, Rasaq Akanbi, the union mandated that the listed marketers must get clearance from its Ibadan base before they can be allowed to load product.
