Nollywood actress Uche Jombo-Rodriguez has spoken out to deny claims she had plastic surgery in the United States of America.
The screenwriter and producer was recently rumoured to have had a nose job after she unveiled on instagram a striking new look at the premiere of hilarious comedy ‘Okon Goes To School’ at the Ozone cinemas, Yaba, Lagos.
Uche’s nose appeared to be slightly thinner, sparking speculation she had undergone rhinoplasty.
“The 3 pictures cannot be all Uche Jomo! Except someone had a plastic surgery on her face. The last 2 are way different. Please stop changing,” one of her fans @zessel twitted.
But Uche debunked the claims posting a tweet which said: “Dear clueless one stop talking *shit. If I want to do surgery, my nose and face will be the last thing I will touch because I am wonderfully made by God. Sincerely Uche Jombo-R.”
The plastic surgery rumours started after the actress returned from a trip to the United States with the complete work of her new movie ‘My Life My Damage’ from the Damage movie trilogy starring Tonto Dikeh, Kalu Ikeagwu, Bukky Wright among others.
According to reports, Uche went to finalise work on post-production editing and colour-grading and also have corrective eye surgery. “As a child, I had an accident while playing with an iron hanger as a gun and it accidentally got into my right eye. I had surgery then abroad, at the age of 9. This new surgery is more of cleaning and keeping up to date with the best eye surgery, when it was found out that it was not properly done the first time, and presently the doctors are correcting it,” she said.
Meanwhile Uche has joined actor Desmond Elliot to produce and direct a new drama-comedy movie entitled ‘The Place’.
