The Nollywood community is grieving as news emerged of actress Sharon Okpamen’s tragic passing after childbirth.

Renowned movie producer Stanley Ontop shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram page.

Sharon Okpamen, an actress from Edo State, reportedly passed away after spending several days in a coma following childbirth. In his post, Ontop captioned the news with: “Nollywood Actor and Producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on. 💔😭💔😭💔 It’s a sad day for Nollywood & the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur& humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry. May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen @sharonokpamen It can only get better 😭💔 Shalom!!!”
