Nollywood actress Monalisa Stephen has reportedly passed away, with details surrounding her death surfacing online.
According to Seun Oloketuyi, CEO of Best of Nollywood (BON), Monalisa Stephen died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Lagos, following complications related to low blood sugar and internal bleeding.
Oloketuyi shared the sad news in a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 14, stating that the information was confirmed by the actress’s younger sister.
In his words: “Brand influencer Monalisa Ayobami Stephen has passed away. She died yesterday in Lagos after a tough battle with low blood sugar and internal bleeding. Her immediate younger sister confirmed the passing of this beautiful and hardworking woman.”
