Actress Margaret Umanah who is based in Uyo died in a ghastly motor accident along the Lagos-Benin Expressway few days ago. She was one of the biggest actresses in the South-East and a very popular and active member in the industry.
She would be remembered for her roles in some Ibibio indigenous movies like ‘Eka Abasi’, a blockbuster epic local movie.
According to foremost movie producer and director in the state, Moses Eskor, a condolence meeting will be held in her honour today, Friday, 16 May, 2014.
