Nigerian singer Adekunle Temitope, popularly known as Small Doctor, experienced a devastating fire that razed his residence, resulting in the loss of all his belongings. A widely circulated video captures the intense flames engulfing the singer’s million-naira-worth possessions, with people seen attempting to salvage what remains of the severely damaged house.
Small Doctor took to his Instagram to verify the incident, expressing gratitude to God for his life and safety. In his post, the Afro-pop musician interpreted the loss of property as a precursor to greater things ahead.
“No pressure for the Lord is with me,” he wrote, adding “that no life was lost”. “Ile Alaafin to jo, ewa lo bu kun, that is to say king house wey burn na make beautification fit plenty,” the post reads in part.
