Nollywood star Nkechi Blessing has voiced her anger after an unknown woman secretly photographed her during a workout session and shared the images online.
Posting on Snapchat, the actress slammed the lady behind the camera, accusing her of trying to ridicule and body-shame her.
Nkechi questioned why people feel entitled to take others’ pictures without consent at the gym, describing the act as an invasion of privacy.
“So someone cannot go to the gym again in Nigeria without being violated? Many of you will carry your phone and take pictures for what exactly? You wanna mock or body shame the person? Are you not mad?” she wrote.
Switching between English, Yoruba, and Pidgin, she condemned the behaviour as insensitive and disrespectful.
Despite the incident, Nkechi vowed not to abandon her fitness goals, saying the situation had only strengthened her resolve. She also warned that she would personally deal with the culprit if they crossed paths again.
“This is totally wrong not because she is my friend but go get a life. My friend don para, but guess what, they just motivated me to keep going… but make I no see that girl for gym tomorrow sha… dem go comot her for my hand,” she added.

Later, the actress shared another post aimed at those criticizing her physique, proudly embracing her appearance.
“Nkechi trying to stay healthy and fit in the gym is a topic? Lmao with my big belle with pride… Una go dey alright, for real!!!” she wrote.
