Heartbreaking scenes have emerged online showing Nigerian women in distress after losing substantial amounts of money to the digital trading platform, CBEX, which has reportedly crashed.
According to circulating reports, users began noticing issues with withdrawals before their account balances were suddenly wiped out, leaving many devastated.
CBEX had marketed itself as a high-yield investment platform, claiming to offer users a 100% return on investment within a month, with all transactions carried out in U.S. dollars.
Now, many investors are grappling with the reality of losing their life savings. In one emotional video, two women can be seen lamenting their losses—one of them revealing she had only recently joined, unaware the platform would crash shortly after.
