A Nigerian man has taken to social media to express frustration after a car he bid ₦4.5 million for on the EFCC auction website mysteriously vanished, and his details were allegedly removed from the platform.
Sharing his experience on X (formerly Twitter), the man accused the EFCC of foul play.
He explained that after placing a bid for the car, it disappeared from the site the following day, and his personal information had also been erased.
To his surprise, the auction was reportedly awarded to someone who hadn’t participated in the bidding process.
In his words, “I bid for a Toyota Camry on USBU-A and won the auction. But when I checked this morning, my details were gone, and another bidder, who wasn’t even part of the auction, was listed as the winner.”
